How to Apply for Admission
Applying for admission is easy. Complete this online application. There is no essay or transcripts to upload. You'll probably be done in less than 5 minutes. You'll be asked for your Social Security number, so you may want to have that handy.
If you need assistance, visit any FVTC location or call 920-735-4740. If you’re applying for the first time, a $30 non-refundable application fee will be assessed as part of your first semester tuition and fees.
Admission Requirements
- Complete the Skills Assessment: Most degree and diploma programs require a skills assessment. You can check the program page to see if the ACCUPLACER or equivalent is required for your program. If you need to complete a skills assessment, there is a $15 non-refundable fee.
- Credit for Prior Learning and Request Transcripts: Some programs require an official copy of your high school and/or GED/HSED transcript. Check the Admission Requirements section on your program page for more information about your program's requirements. If you’ve attended another college or university, you’ll need an official transcript from each school. Learn more about credit for prior learning.
- Complete Other Admission Requirements: Some programs have additional admission requirements. Check your specific program to view the Admission Requirements or call us at 920-735-5645 for more information.
Applying for Financial Aid
If you need help paying for college, we encourage you to apply for financial aid, which is federal and state assistance that can include grants, loans and/or employment. There are many factors that determine how much aid you will receive. The financial aid application and awarding process takes time. In order to guarantee your award will be processed before your program start date, please apply early. There are also many options for scholarships, grants and work-study.
Congratulations!
It's time to enter your program. When all of your admission requirements have been met, you’ll receive an acceptance letter in the mail, along with an invitation to sign up for New Student Registration. Sessions are held about 2-3 months before classes begin, so watch for information and instructions in the mail.
Congratulations! You’re ready to begin your classes.
